The 2026 Mekong Tourism Forum wad held in Yangon, Myanmar, from June 16 to 18, 2026. Jointly organized by Myanmar’s Ministry of Hotels, Tourism and Culture and the MTCO, the forum’s theme is “Tourism for People, Travel with Purpose.”

The event features a regional gastronomy exhibition and technical visits around Yangon and Bago to showcase local heritage and community-driven initiatives.
